TAYLOR, Erna (nee Coxe) (Mrs. Arbic)

It is with great sadness, that the family for Erna Taylor (nee Coxe) (Mrs. Arbic) announces her passing on Wednesday August 2, 2017.  She went peacefully in her home at Birkdale Place, Milton.  She is lovingly remembered by her children Anne Monaghan (Gary), Susan Cole (Terry) and David Arbic (Mary).  Erna will be sadly missed by her eight grandchildren and their partners; Rick (Kristine), Leanne (Jamie), Amanda (David), Adam (Susan), Brian (Nikki), Nick (Elise), Darren (Courtney) and Katina (Jerry) and by her fourteen great-grandchildren; Henry, Clare, Elijah, Grace, Eleanor, Isaac, Bronte, Elliotte, Isabelle, Declan, Isla, Nate, Blake and Hayden.  Erna is survived by her sister Shirley Marshall.  She will be remembered and missed by her many nieces and nephews and her loving and supportive friends.  She was a favourite teacher (Mrs. Arbic) of many who attended J. M. Denyes School.  She shared her joy of music and singing with Knox Presbyterian Church choir, The Milton Seniors choir, and the Song Spinners.  Erna's appreciation for education was reflected in her own pursuit of higher education, her work as a teacher for 40 years, as well as her encouragement of family to continue their own higher level of learning.  The family will receive visitors at J. SCOTT EARLY FUNERAL HOME, 21 James St., Milton (905)878-2669 on Wednesday August 9, 2017 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m.  A memorial service will take place on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. from KNOX PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 170 Main St. E., Milton.  If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Knox Presbyterian Church or any other charity of choice.  Messages of condolence may be left online at www.earlyfuneralhome.com
