Sunday, November 19, 2017So saddened to learn of Arnie's death. When I was a boy Arnie was a fixture at the old Brown Street Arena - ive lost count of how many times he sharpened my skates. He was a real friend to all of us that hung out at the "rink" and he will be missed.

Saturday, November 18, 2017Our condolences to the family and friends of Arnie. My husband remembers him fondly from the Friday night hockey games when the Merchanies played. After, every time we saw him he would speak to us. Such a great person. RIP Arnie. We were so sad to hear of this death and at, really, a young age. God Bless.

Wednesday, November 15, 2017I cannot count how many times I have wondered how Arnie was doing. He was always so helpful to us figure skaters when we had to deal with the hockey guys. Always a gentleman. He had, I think, a cheery outlook on life despite many challenges. You will be missed, my friend. Joanne

Tuesday, November 14, 2017Grant and I were sorry to hear of Arnie's passing. He was a very pleasant and friendly man. Grant knew him for a very long time and I got to know him when I was working at the Esso. Sometimes, especially in nasty weather, I would drive him home down 25 highway. He was always so nice.
