Allen Parkman, Funeral Director's Assistant
Allen was born and raised, and currently lives with his children in Hamilton. Allen does a lots of work with The Ride To Conquer Cancer, and loves volunteering in the community. Allen is an avid cyclist, who also enjoy lots of other outdoor activities, such as hiking and kayaking. Allen has been an funeral directors assistant for more the 10 years, with hopes of going to become a director himself.
Reese Lewis, Funeral Director's Assistant
Reese was born and raised and currently still lives with his family here in Milton. He is married to Emma, an RN on the Obstetrics Unit of the Milton District Hospital and they have 2 grown children, Connor and Devon. Reese was raised in the family of a Presbyterian minister and his family is current members of Knox Presbyterian Church on Main St. When spare time allows, Reese enjoys spending time with his family and their family dog Chloe, planning and going on family trips together.
Justine Loftis, Funeral Director's Assistant
Having completed her high school co-op education with us, Justine has gone on to successfully complete year one of the Funeral Service Education program at Humber College. She is currently serving her apprenticeship at the Lotus Funeral Home in Etobicoke, gaining a wealth on knowledge and experience of funeral customs that will serve her well as a licensed funeral director. Justine continues to work with us, serving the families of Milton whenever possible.
Daryl Horlick, Funeral Director's AssistantDaryl joined the J. Scott Early team in 2013 on a part time basis and enjoys the opportunity to work with families during visitation and services. Married with two grown sons, Daryl has experience working with the Hamilton Region Victim's Services Unit, in addition to his full time work in the fashion industry.
Laurie Gracey, Housekeeping and Reception
A longtime resident of Milton, Laurie has been a valued part of our staff since 2007. Her assistance with housekeeping and maintenance led to a more active role in assistance with reception, visitation and funeral services. A member of Knox Presbyterian Church in Milton, Laurie is also active in dog training and is involved in the Newfoundland Dog Club.
Ellen Trafford, Hairdresser
Ellen has lived in Milton since 1967 and has worked for J. Scott Early Funeral Home for more than 12 years. She is a professional hairstylist who's full time employ has been with "Danielas Place" for the past 25 years. We are fortunate to have her available to tend to the hairdressing needs of our families. In addition to her work as a hairstylist, often visiting clients in their home if needed, Ellen is also a full time Mom to Daniell and Joe.
