Wednesday, December 6, 2017I was sorry to learn of Shirley's passing. It was a sincere pleasure to have her as a client at the Day Program. Ed and Christine, I can hear your mom's laughter and it was contagious! Both of your parents were special people and raised some wonderful, caring children and I am fortunate to have met all of you! I know that all of your good memories will bring comfort to you at this difficult time. Love, Tracy

Wednesday, November 29, 2017I was sorry to hear Shirley had passed away. I knew she had been having difficulties for a number of years. The last time I saw her was at the Edwards family reunion about 13 years ago. I enjoyed the reunions as we were able to meet may of the relatives with whom we would not have otherwise had an opportunity to interact.

Tuesday, November 28, 2017Shirley and Bob were two delightful people. Always happy and up. Always willing to help. I loved the trip they took me on in their motor home to Niagara Falls. Their house was always an adventure to explore including getting those quarter sized electrical box knock-outs from the industrial park we would hike to on Saturday morning. I remember Bob having a cool invention: An indoor switch in the kitchen to turn on the block heater for the car to start on cold mornings. I remember being handed a birthday gift to give to Donald at his party but I thought I was supposed to open it instead: a cool helicopter! (and got in trouble afterwards from my dad). So many fun times and great memories with Shirley and Bob! Will miss them and treasure them forever.

Tuesday, November 28, 2017Ed, Don and Christine. Your mother is remembered fondly. A caring, generous and creative force. A matriarch holds special esteem, and is always a tough person to let go of at any age or circumstance. You stood by her side together in support and care. She knows this and your parents will always be with you. Hug from our family.
