Obituary of Margaret Ptolomey

PTOLOMEY, “Peggy” Margaret Elizabeth (nee Howe)

Suddenly on Wednesday May 16, 2018 at Allendale Long Term Care in Milton in her 95th year.  Predeceased by her beloved husband of 60 years, Alex (2009).  Loving mother to Lynne (Norm) Limpert and Russell (Elizabeth) Ptolomey.  Proud grandmother of her only grandson, Ryan.  Dear sister of the late June Threadkell.  She will also be remembered by nieces and nephews and by extended family in Canada and Scotland.  Peggy was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and all of her family near and far were blessed to have her as part of their lives for so long.  Family was the most important part of her life.  Peggy worked for many years at the Scarborough Board of Education in the public schools as a typist/secretary – a perfect job, she always said because she could be off when her “kids “were off. She and Alex resided in Scarborough until 2004 when they relocated to Milton.  Peggy was a gracious, well loved and appreciative resident of Allendale for the past nine years and the family is very grateful to all the staff there for their exceptional care. The family will receive visitors at J. SCOTT EARLY FUNERAL HOME,  21 James St., Milton (905) 878-2669 on Friday May 25, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at which time a memorial service will take place in the funeral home chapel.  A family interment will take place on Saturday at 12:00 noon at RESTHAVEN MEMORIAL GARDENS, Scarborough.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the CNIB would be appreciated by the family.  Messages of condolence may be left online at www.earlyfunrealhome.com
