On Saturday, August 11, 2018, at the age of 65, Brian passed away peacefully at his home after a long, difficult battle with cancer. He is survived by Lorraine, his loving wife of 35 years, and his older brother Bob. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Lillian Ethel, as well as sister Ina, and brother Alan. Lovingly remembered by his extended family and numerous friends.
Brian was extremely proud of his mid-career achievement of a MBA from McMaster University, as well as his business association with Vicon, Wilton, and partnership with Wilkinson Media. An added benefit of his MBA was the opportunity to teach part time at Sheridan College. He was an avid golfer who loved getaways to Palm Springs and Scottsdale, and enjoyed music, movies, and books. We will remember him fondly every time we hear his favourite tunes or quotes.
We would like to thank the amazing staff of 1B Surgical floor at The Credit Valley Hospital, and especially Dr. Uddin and Dr. Jones for months of compassionate care, physical and emotional support. A special thank you as well to the “Village” of friends and family who have supported us through this challenging journey.
In lieu of flowers, donations to The Salvation Army, or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
A memorial service celebrating Brian’s life will be held Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 11:00 am with reception to follow at J. Scott Early Funeral Home, 21 James Street, Milton (905)878-2669. Interment to follow at Springcreek Cemetary, 1390 Clarkson Road N., Mississauga
