Alfredo Liberta

Obituary of Alfredo Liberta

It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved "One & Only" Freddie Liberta, peacefully at home, at age 75.

Loving husband of nearly 55 years to Carmie, devoted father to Korina & Anthony and Claudia & Glenn, and doting NONNO to Ashley (Eric), Jordan (Kayla), Brandon (Tiana), Brianna, Bryce, Sophia, Olivia, Easton and Vali. Brother to Danny (Elena), and the late Tony (Maria) and special Uncle to many nephews and nieces.

Freddie had a big personality and an even bigger heart and he was adored by all those who knew him. He was a very social and giving man, and an avid volunteer and leader who championed for those in need. He was a fantastic cook, loved soccer, playing golf, enjoying a good cigar, but mostly enjoyed spending time with his family, and large circle of paesanos and life-long friends. Born in Cantalupo Italy, he cherished his Italian roots while also being a very proud Canadian.

His passing has left many hearts broken and he will be sorrowfully missed.

In lieu of flowers, Freddie would love 'gifts of giving' in his honour. Please visit chalice.ca (see Gift Catalogue) or worldvision.ca/gifts. Thank you.
