My sincere condolence to Barbs family. I had the pleasure of meeting Barb many many years ago. She gave me a call and asked for a quote for slipcovers for some of her living room furniture. We had many design conversations over this first small job. And then it ended. Short while later, another call, another small job and more design conversations. This was turning out to be a lot of fun. Over the years we did many projects. A lot of the time Barb enjoyed making the drapes or the bedding or the soft furnishings by herself with a lit bit of advice from me. A short time later I realized that Barb would be a great asset to my team. She helped me for many years with my sewing. Her favorite part was when new fabric sample books came in. She would drool over the goodies for hours and then she would start planning her next drapery job. BARB WAS DEFINITELY a lady with an incredible love for design. We spent many wonderful years sharing that love. I will miss her terribly but my life was definitely better for knowing her.

Barbara was my Best Friend for almost fifty years. In early years we spent much time together and with her family. She was a joy to be with and we always had fun. In later years we didn't see one another that often as she had moved further away. We kept in touch by phone and talked for hours. I loved her and will miss her but I know she is all around me watching over me and keeping me on track.
Love you Barb

My sincerest condolences to Barb's family. I have not met anyone with so much energy and a love of life at her age. She brought a smile to my face every time I thought of her and especially when she was outwalking me at the Velodrome! I've no doubt she left some wonderful memories with a lot of people. She will be missed.

Thank you, Sandy. ENERGY was synonymous with Barb. Her energy was astounding & daunting. She had more than all her 4 children put together & she had 20+ years on us! Her laughter & love to laugh is something we will all miss greatly. Memories of her clutching her stomach while tears rolled down her face in gales of laughter are memories which will sustain me.
