Our beloved Andy is at peace now at home with all who have passed before him. Born on Bell Island, Newfoundland Andy lived there with his parents and 11 brothers and sisters. He left Newfoundland and went to Toronto where he met his wife Colleen and had two wonderful children Rodney and Maureen and then 5 grandchildren whom he loved very much. He was employed at Canada Packers, from which he retired after 25 years.
Survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Colleen and by his son Rodney (Shelley) and daughter Maureen. Also missed by his grandchildren Joey and Jenna DePaiva and Taylor, Connor and Ryan Peckham. Dear brother of Linda Geiger (Willi), Winnie McGrady (predeceased), Maria Blacquiere (Ernie), Edward Peckham (Beatrice Copping), Margaret Jarvis (Glen), Shirley Murphy (Pat), Les Peckham (predeceased), Janet Janes (Boyd), Marion Peckham, Philip Peckham and Sharon Peckham.
Andy was a kind, loving, funny person who had a real zest for life. He was happiest when surrounded by his family and friends, playing his guitar and singing. He was an avid hockey fan who never missed a Leaf's game. He loved to joke around and get a smile from everyone. Always the centre of the fun.... and he was very charming, and loved by all that knew him.
He will be missed more than words can say, and he will never be forgotten by those he left behind.
