BRUNNER, Karen Ann - 1951 - 2021. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Karen on Friday, July 16, 2021 at the Milton District Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Larry Brunner. Dearest mother of Travis (Fayme), Joel (Tegan) and Luke (Sandy). Loving Grammy to Isabelle, Jude, Noah and Fynn. Predeceased by her Mom and Dad, Joe and Myrtle Real. Special sister to Jean (George), Dan (Sherry), Cathy (Bill), Paul (Angela) Marilyn and Joan (Brian). Loved and remembered by Theresa (Ed), Mary (Ken), Loretta (Max), Ken (Wendy) and John (Teri). Special Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Karen brought joy to all who had the honour to know her. Always positive and always smiling. She truly loved being a Math teacher, taught and tutored many throughout her career. Her love of cards was passed onto to so many and everyone wanted her as their partner. Her time spent in Florida and at Six Mile Lake were filled with fun and laughter. We will cherish all the wonderful times that we shared with this truly amazing woman. A very special thank you to Dr L. Horvat who went above and beyond with her care and compassion. All the nurses also need to be thanked for the kindness they showed in taking care of Karen. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 21 at 11am from Holy Rosary Church, 139 Martin St., Milton. If desired, memorial donations in lieu of flowers to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated. Messages of condolence may be left online at www.earlyfuneralhome.com
