It is with great sadness and shock that we announce the sudden passing of (Clarence) Warren Hall of Milton on August 17, 2021. Warren was born in Hamilton, ON on Feb 23, 1935 to Bertha (Featherstone) and Clarence E. Hall of Milton, ON.
Warren is survived by sons Joseph (Karen) of Prince William, NB and Mathew (Sheila) of Lefroy, ON, and grandchildren Devin, Taylor, Bryer, Stacey and Albany, his sister Norma Fitzpatrick and niece Shelley Fitzpatrick. A short 8 months ago Warren lost his loving wife of 64 years, Shirley (Wilson). Warren is also predeceased by his parents and brother Arnold Hall.
Warren was raised on the family farm in Milton which helped him to become a jack-of-all trades and a fountain of knowledge on farm history. Later, Warren drove for Oakville Wood-Specialties for many years before eventually driving for the EC Drury School-for-the-Deaf in Milton from which retired. Warren was always ready and willing to help out family and friends whenever they needed him. Warren enjoyed the outdoors and loved to hunt and fish and spend time in his vegetable garden. Warren loved attending auctions and sales and always was on the lookout for a good buy. A big part of Warren’s life was his love for restoring antique tractors and he was a member of the Ontario Steam and Antique Preservers Association. Until recently he was actively showing his collection at the annual Steam-Era show in Milton.
The family would like to thank neighbours and lifelong friends Hope and Bill Woodcock for all their help and support, particularly the last few difficult years. It is profoundly appreciated.
The family will receive visitors at J. Scott Early Funeral Home, 21 James St., Milton 905-878-2669 on Tuesday August 24, 2021 from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 1:30 with limited attendance.
If desired, donations in memory of Warren to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Messages of condolence may be left online at www.earlyfuneralhome.com
