Dear Debbie and Family,
I was so sorry to read your dad's obituary in the paper. When I saw that he had been 99, I thought - wow! what a life lived! Think of all the adventures had, memories made, and love shared.
I hope that in time, your memories will bring you all peace.
With my deepest sympathies to you and your family,
Valerie (Stuart) Shepherd
A man of faith and legacy.
I have many wonderful memories of Uncle Alec. His kind and warm smile always greeted me at family reunions. He took time to talk to me and it made me feel so special as a child.
Now as a man reflecting on his amazing life I see a man of faith, family and legacy. He was part of that generation that put others first and didn't complain, but gave thanks to God in all things. What an example he was to us all. What a precious legacy of life he leaves in his children and many grandchildren.
We will miss you sir. Until by God's grace we meet again in that heavenly kingdom of Jesus Christ our Lord and eternal hope.
