HACKENBROOK, Alberta May - Longtime member of RCL Branch #136 Ladies Auxiliary
At Allendale Long Term Care on Saturday November 6, 2021 after a lengthy battle with dementia at the age of 90. Predeceased by her husband Duane. Loving mother of Clayton (Joyce), Cheryl, Karen (the late Tom), Patricia and Debra (Shawn). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Jeremy, Derek, Rochelle, Craig, Matthew, Nikki, Jacklyn, Alyssa, Danielle, Janet and Laura; her 19 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Sister of Jack (Diana), George (Betty), Larry (Connie), Bonnie (Larry) and predeceased by Muriel (Ron), Connie (George), Gloria (Doug), and Terry (Lorna).
Alberta was the friendly face at Zellers for many years, a member of the Milton Historical Society and a choir member and volunteer at the Milton Senior's Centre among many other activities.
The family will receive visitors at J. Scott Early Funeral Home, 21 James St., Milton (905) 878-2669, on Wednesday November 10, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow from the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Milton Evergreen Cemetery.
Proof of vaccination will be required for all attendees.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Hamilton/Halton Alzheimer Foundation or the Willow Foundation (Allendale) would be appreciated.
