Joyce Bissonnette (Jordan, Wood) June 21, 1948 – March 5, 2022 While surrounded by family, Joyce peacefully passed away at Milton District Hospital in her 73rd year. Predeceased by her husband, Jim, she will be greatly missed by all of her kids, Gary, Danny (Janice), Marny (Chris), Valerie and Ryan (Margot) and her brother Joe (Jean) and sister Gladys (Andy). Known as Nanny to her seven grandchildren, Derek, Andrew, Christopher, Charlie, Abby, Clea and her best friend and grandson Aidan. Retired from her long career as a Law Clerk and Information Oakville, Joyce was an active member of the Milton community since 1972 with a passion for Graphology and community involvement. Joyce was a prolific trivia player and enjoyed being a master at Jeopardy and has an unbeaten record with her large extended family. Joyce was an excellent camper who always enjoyed travelling and various outdoor adventures. Originally born in Glasgow, Scotland she was raised in the Wexford area of Scarborough Ontario. The family would like to thank the staff and physicians at both Credit Valley Hospital and Milton District Hospital. A celebration of life is taking place at Sherwood Community Centre (Room 4) in Milton from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM on Saturday March 12. A zoom link will be available for those who cannot make the celebration in person. In lieu of flowers a donation to the foundation at Milton District Hospital would be appreciated.
