Eileen Catherine DiNatale (nee Noro) June 9, 1942 - November 20, 2022 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eileen DiNatale, peacefully at Ian Anderson House Hospice in her 80th year. Devoted mother to Lisa (Clemente), grandmother to Benjamin, mother to Jim (Jody) grandmother to Julia, Franco and Mia. Eileen was a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and cherished friend to many and led a rich, full life filled with friends from all walks of life. Eileen graduated from St Joseph’s College in 1963 and began her nursing career at Mississauga Hospital before she, husband Frank and children Lisa and Jim moved to Milton. She worked at Milton District Hospital for many years, first in Emergency and then as the Head Nurse of the newly formed ICU department. Eileen was a serious and respected health care professional whose positive influence and mentorship was felt by many colleagues throughout her career. Widowed in 1990, Eileen devoted herself to her children and their families. We remember Eileen as a powerful force, independent and active in the community, giving selflessly in all aspects of her life through her friendships and volunteer activities. She offered a warm and welcoming home, where many friends and relatives were graced with her generosity and wisdom and she was always committed to the success of those around her. Her kindness, and generosity live with us now as we grieve her loss and celebrate her life. Eileen’s family is filled with gratitude at the compassionate care Eileen received from old and dear friends in her final days. Cremation has taken place. In honour of her wishes the visitation will be held at J Scott Early Funeral Home, 21 James Street, Milton on Saturday November 26, 2022 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. In memory of Eileen, donations may be made to Covenant House.
