Obituary of Geraldine Margaret Labine

LABINE, Geraldine Margaret (nee Dunn) Born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario in 1921, Geraldine died peacefully on November 23, 2022 at Allendale Long Term Care in Milton. She married her husband Ray Labine in 1947 and they moved to Sudbury, Ontario until 2000 when they relocated to Milton. Beloved mother of Joan (Randy) McNaughton and James (predeceased). Grandmother to Shannon (Christian) McArthur, Sarah (Geoffrey) Tresidder and Michael Labine. Great grandmother to Riley and Ella McArthur and Godmother to Geraldine Saunders. Geraldine was the last surviving child of Margaret and Frederick Dunn of Ottawa. She was an active member of the Catholic Church and Catholic Women's League in Sudbury and Milton; a Girl Guide leader; and hospital volunteer. She also enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking and picking wild blueberries. The family will receive visitors at J. Scott Early Funeral Home, 21 James St., Milton (905) 878-2669 on Thursday November 24, 2022 from 7 - 9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Rosary Church, 139 Martin St., Milton.
